Cultural Exchange for Climate Stories

Saturday, 11:00-18:00,

Father Burke Park,

Free, no registration required.

Cultural Exchange for Climate Stories brings together community participants from diverse cultural backgrounds in Galway, working with local artists to explore how climate change is experienced across different countries.

Six country-based stands will invite visitors to move through the festival space and engage with climate stories through lived experience, visual design, cultural objects, and traditional snacks. Each stand will be led by community participants, creating accessible entry points for conversation and reflection.

By grounding climate conversations in real stories and lived experiences, the project aims to help more people connect with climate change and recognise how it can affect everyday life. It connects climate action with culture, storytelling, and community participation, offering an inclusive space for dialogue, learning, and connection across communities.
