Galway County Council has commissioned a series of short videos showcasing climate action across four inspiring locations — Ballygar, Ballindereen, Brigit’s Garden and the Aran Islands.
These stories demonstrate the incredible work being delivered by communities, committed individuals and organisations across the county. Many of the projects featured have been supported by Galway County Council through a range of funding streams, including the Community Climate Action Fund.
Created with Heavy Man Films, in close collaboration with the communities themselves, the videos capture the people, ideas and shared effort behind the projects and celebrate the commitment and sense of community driving climate action at a local level.
The videos will be shown at various times throughout the festival in the festival tent. Admission is free.
