Repair Club

Saturday, 11:00-13:30,

Stretch Tent, Father Burke Park,

Taking care of your clothes can cut their carbon footprint by up to 30% over their lifetime, simply by repairing, re-wearing, and keeping them in use for long.

At the Repair Club, volunteers from both of Galway City’s 2 monthly repair events! ( ‘Galway Repair Cafe’ and ‘Westside Repair Cafe’) will be on hand to show simple mending techniques, help with small fixes, and answer questions about repair and reuse.

This is a drop in space where you can learn how to fix your favourite jeans, and mend that sweater. No bookings required.

Thank you to Galway City Council’s Environment Section, with funding through it’s ‘Circular City Galway’ initiative, and Galway City Councils community section with funding under LCDC. Also, thanks to Galway County Council, the City Bin Company and Galway Volunteer Centre.

Admission is free but places are limited.
