Second Hand Market

Middle Street

Sunday Sept 15th
10am to 5pm

Want to clear out your attic, make a few quid and do something good for the planet all at once?

Embracing the mantra of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" The Galway Climate Inspirations Festival will be hosting a secondhand market on Middle Street on Sunday the 15th September.

We are offering a limited number of trading spaces for a nominal fee of €20 on a first come, first serve basis. So if you have old, unwanted or recycled items why not see if your trash is someone else's treasure and have a clear down without needlessly throwing stuff out! This opportunity is open to individuals looking to resell their own second hand belongings, community groups, charities and teams interested in a fundraising opportunity or commercial traders whose products are entirely recycled, vintage or secondhand. There will also be a limited number of spaces available for non-profit organisations to host information stands, looking to raise public awareness around environmental or climate issues and initiatives.

Stall holders will be provided with a table and chairs under a pop-up 3m x 3m marquee on Middle Street. There will be a full road closure in place and a lively programme of music, street performances and family activities as a part of the festival. Trading hours are from 10am to 5pm. There will be no vehicular access to your stall during these hours.

If you are interested in taking part, please complete our short registration form below and we will be in touch with more information.
